I am in full swing with my preparations of my 2011 race season, as I will enter several different championships in 2011.
- In the Thailand Supercar Championship I will be racing in my Subaru Impreza which for this season is being totally overhauled by TAWEE MOTORSPORT in Bangkok.
- In the Pro Series “Thailand Touring Car Championship” I will enter with my Honda Integra DC-5 supported by Yokohama Tires.
- In the 3K-NITTO Championship I will enter with both my Honda Integra DC-5 and my Subaru Impreza
- In the Honda Racing Fest Championship I will race with my Honda Integra DC-5.
I only drove 1 race in my Honda Integra DC-5 last year, and that was with a standard road engine, and with standard cams and a standard ECU, in addition to this, the car was almost 150 Kgs overweight, so a lot of work has been put into rebuilding the car over the winter season to make it as competitive as possible from the beginning of the season.
We should be ready to test the car around the 10th to 12th of March, so we can join the 1st round of the 3K-NITTO Championship at Bira on the 18th 19th and 20th of March 2011.
The engine for the Honda Integra has been built by Haew Motorsport in Bangkok, and the car has been modified by Sa-Ing Garden in Pattaya. The car will be tuned by Mr. Lim so I trust we have a good starting point for the season.
The Honda Integra is being fitted with a Macau GP style wide body kit.
