The year 2011 was a year were, we again showed our strength and were we had many good top results. Our track record for 2011 showed that we entered a total of 38 sprint race championship events in Thailand, and we managed to have a minimum of 1 driver on the podium in all the race events. The season overall results were therefore good and we secured a total of 3 Thailand National Championships.

2011 Championships we won:

  • Thailand Supercar Championship:            Supercar Team Champions of 2011
  • Thailand Supercar Championship:            Super 2000 Junior Driver Champions of 2011
  • Thailand Supercar Championship:            Super 2000 Junior Team Champions of 2011

In addition to this, we finished in the top of all the other championships also:

  • Honda Racing Fest:            Honda Pro Cup Thailand Championship overall 3rd place
  • Honda Racing Fest:            Honda Pro Cup Thailand Championship B Class 3rd place

  • Thailand Touring Car Championship:            Overall position in the Championship 4th
  • Thailand Touring Car Championship:            Position in B-class 2nd

  • Nitto – 3K Thailand Championship:                        2nd in the Championship

Looking back at the year, we can see the results could have been even better if we had a better reliability, as mechanical or electrical issues several times caused a DNF in some of the events, causing us to lose valuable points and thus even more Championships.

In 2012 we will focus on fewer race series and spend the year on building up the team internally, and building up the reliability and performance of the cars.

The Singha Team proved to be the team to beat in 2011 and we are sure they once again in 2012 will be one of the front running teams, so we much improve our reliability and the performance of our cars if we shall be able to challenge them for the championships in other classes also.

They have a clear advantage in the performance of their cars, as they in 2011 were almost unbeatable on known race circuits when it was dry, but in the wet we were able to keep up as the performance no longer was as important, and on the small street tracks where a lot more technical skills were required we are on a much more even playing field and at times were able to beat them.

The Lipo Racing Team also proved to be a best of the rest like our self and we had many good fights with them in 2011. In Supercar the Toyota TRD Racing team, started out being less competitive than normal, but with a huge budget and development program they quickly became one of the top teams again, and the V8 cars from New Zealand proved to be almost  untouchable in the start of the season, but reliability issues during the season, allowed everybody else to fight with them for the Championship.

2012 will be kicked into gear in June with the first races, and we are sure that everybody else is reviewing their 2011 season like we have done, and are all preparing them self for a championship attack in 2012, so we will have to wait and see the strength of each team until the start of the season.
