Tony Percy

Nationality: British
Date of Birth: 26th of Jan 1955
Started Racing in: 1998

His Motor racing career began in karts, became hooked after a trial at what was then the KR kart track in Pattaya during 1997. After a number of years racing karts successfully in the Thai 125cc category, with runners-up and championship honours on several occasions between 1998 and 2005.

Due to overseas work commitments during 2005, 2006 and 2007, Tony was unable to participate in motor racing in Thailand. During late 2007 he was recruited into a young and forward-looking race team (The Pizza Company Racing Team) and competed for the first time in saloon racing with a 1500cc modified entry in the Thailand Supercar series where he was immediately successful finishing 4th overall in the championship.

From 2009 through to 2013, he competed in the 2000cc class of Supercar and the Honda Pro car series where he won both the Honda pro cup championship and finished runner-up on 2 other occasions and for supercar again winning his championship and finishing runner-up on 2 occasions. During this period he also won the team championship in both series on 2 occasions.

From 2014 through to 2016, Tony dabbled in the smaller 1500 open and production classes driving a Honda Jazz, this time in the Thailand Super Series, but during this period he never felt comfortable with driving the smaller cars and in 2017 reverted back to driving his Honda DC 5 Integra machine but again due to overseas work commitments was only able to participate in 2 rounds as a privateer.

For 2018 he is driving for the Unixx TR Motorsport team and fully committed to driving all 8 rounds of the Thailand Super Series (Thailand Touring Car ) in his Honda Integra DC5, with a clear objective of winning the Class B Championship honours whilst also attempting to make the overall podium at all championship rounds. A pretty tall order but if targets are not set, they cannot be met………
