The man behind TR-Motorsport is Thomas Raldorf the son of Oluf Raldorf who was a very successful driver in Rallying and Circuit Racing. Since the tender age of two Thomas was always by his father’s side at these events’, Thomas originally a lover of all things two wheeled made the transition to four wheels and Karting when he was just 10 years old.
Throughout his youth Thomas raced with Jan Magnussen (father of F1 Star Kevin Magnussen), Nikolej Olsen and Jason Watt, all three of them were members of the famous VIADIKTEN youth club in Roskilde, Denmark.
In December 1997 Thomas would find himself travelling 6,000 miles across the globe to begin his life in Thailand which would become his permanent home. With racing blood flowing through his veins TR Motorsport was quickly established in 1998 and Thomas began racing in the Kingdom. During the years 1998 – 2005 Thomas concentrated on the Thailand National Karting Championships capturing many titles along the way and raising his profile within Thai motorsport circles.
After being noticed by several prominent teams during his Karting period, Thomas was offered a drive with the Pizza Company Racing Team with which TR Motorsport would be a sponsor.
